Love in Adolescence 3: A Panel Discussion on What Youth Could Be Learning About Building Healthy Relationships

In our third annual “Love in Adolescence” webinar, panelists discuss what we as adults can do to support youth to learn what they need to build healthy relationships.

Adolescence is a window of profound social learning–and young people are particularly eager to learn about and from their romantic relationships. But advice from parents, social media, and school-based programs (where they exist) often miss the deeper questions about emotional intimacy.

In this webinar, moderator Adriana Galván, Co-Executive Director of UCLA CDA, talks with panelists Thao Ha, Associate Professor of Psychology at Arizona State University, Ross Szabo, Wellness Director at the UCLA Geffen Academy, and Namrata Poola, UCLA student and member of the Youth Scientific Council on Adolescence (YSCA) about how we as adults can help youth learn what they need to build healthy relationships–not just from others, but from their own experiences with dating, as well.
