
Melissa Fenton, PhD

Melissa is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Colorado State University. She is also the co-director of the Rural and Agricultural Mental Health and Substance Use (RAMS) Lab and affiliate faculty in the Colorado School of Public Health at CSU. Melissa’s research examines the influences of rural contextual factors on rural adolescent and young adult behavioral health and development, with the goal of informing community-based prevention and intervention to promote behavioral health and well-being in rural places.
